I keep them in a separate folder so as not to muddle with the main notes. Similarly to your second screenshot, that’s more or less what my daily notes look like. It’s been a bit tricky trying to come up with a system that’s structured enough to avoid being messy, but fluid enough to not discourage adding to it.
My vault is a mix of concept/evergreen notes, with history, news, and geopolitics.
I’ve been trying to find a good workflow for this too.
